Let’s call the whole thing off.

There’ll be no pulling of the nightshade for these two.

Better to find out now than after there are children.

(Took me a moment to realize it was a ring, but I knew a coin made no sense.)

Already, they can’t see eye to eye.

If they can’t allow for minor differences such as the tomato/potato song, they are better off going their separate ways.
