Now that you ran into the silent “e” the whole thing’s gonna break up and NORAD’s gonna have to track each letter individually till it re-enters….Following up on one of Monday’s comments: According to an interview in the New York Times, George Lucas’s plan is that after he hands off the “Red Tails” franchise to another set of directors (assuming the movie makes money, there will be a prequel and a sequel), he himself wants to go back to making personal, arty films for small audiences. Makes sense to me—his career was headed in that direction as of “American Graffiti,” and then “Star Wars” (while an important and generally good set o’ films) did kinda send him on a long, strange trip into the land of big-budget blockbusters and FX technology. Sounds like he wants to pick up where he left off, “long ago in a Hollywood far, far away…”
Justin, another great ’toon.I love the word play and the visual and verbal puns — more subtle than Frank & Ernest but just as much fun.
I have been wondering: Is the ship’s “rotation arrow” the counter-torque to the “spin thrusters?” ;-) (but I suspect it is really one of Justin’s side jokes pulling our leg)

Or Russian space—those Шs are pointy, but watch out for the й—they’re just sneaky. And the ъ—they’re a sign of hard times ahead…

By the way, I notice the thrusters are spinning the ship one way, but the arrow on the ship’s body points the other way…

Coulda been a silent H, if not for the chipped E over there. Then again, space is supposed to be silent….

But how would you clear it up? Send up a huge pad of space-foam to collect the various bits?

The arrows only refer to the entry hatch area of each individual’s pod and has nothing at all to do with the engine’s rotation.
