    … so what’s wrong with calling a genius a genius?… maybe we should call her “stupidity-challenged” …

Racial stereotyping that every Asian is superior in education. In fact two comment suicide because of the opposite. This is sad ( comic strip ) and possibly realistic.

I like her phone call. She’s saying that we are all way too sensitive about being stereotyped, even when it could be taken as a compliment. We could all be a little less sensitive.

Except no bald jokes. That’s crossing the line. :-)

I tell Offended-American jokes. Nobody ever recognizes themselves in the punchline.

I think the political correct things are getting out of hand, I mean the whole Asian-American African-American thing they are just Americans with a different color skin people I mean seriously if we go to say Africa are white people called American-Africans? And yes it is noted that the Asian culture is more focused on Education than the Western cultures so why is it a bad thing to acknowledge that?

I find it offensive that if you offer a compliment to people of a certain ethnic heritage that it’s possibly offensive to them but if you offer it to someone of a different heritage, it’s a compliment.
