Yesterday, somebody called Clarence Thomas an “Uncle Tom”. Uncle Tom was a slave who was beaten to death – by two other slaves – for defying his white master. I’d say being called Uncle Tom should be a compliment.

when are we going to have a "White History’ month?

Writing a report on important African-American figures in history… Great. Regarding your parents as important African-American figures in history… PRICELESS!

Every year, same thing. Boring.

When I use to read the comics in the newspaper, during the month of February, I would skip Jump Start until well into March. I don’t consider myself racist, I just don’t care to have it crammed down my throat.

Why aren’t you skipping it now?

Well, black has as much history as red, orange, blue, or white. A disservice is being perpetuated on the negro race with bs like this. If your not ashamed of being ‘Negro’, you could have a ‘Negro history DAY’… That way, pretty much everybody could enjoy it.

Sunny has an excellent point…each and every family has its own story worth telling.

She should say “thank you sweetie” I’m not gonna help you with your homework either!
