Or like the two young lads who climbed into their grandpa’s attic and found an old radio, plugged it in and turned it on, and said, “Hey! It only plays sound! You don’t have to watch the pictures all the time! COOL!”
my living room has a clock on the TV, clock on the cable box, two clocks on the computer desktop, clock on the cellphone, and I’m THINKING of buying another analoghe clock to hang over the computer. The kitchen has just the stove (for now.)The bathroom has an analogue clock (I tend to time brushing my teeth for exactly 2 minutes.)My bedroom, has a digital clock (just there so I don’t have to view my cellphone, which acts as my alarm)..I stopped wearing watches in 2010, after my backpack pulled the crown off my 3 week old watch, and my sweat blistered the 18/10 stainless steel band on a second watch. :(
Ask a kid what time it is, and you are likely to hear: “Its eleven dot dot fifteen”, quarter past eleven. The worst part about daylight savings time is having to remember which clocks to change and which will change themselves.
My clock says its time for a cup of leftover coffee to be heated up and enjoyed with that last cinnamon roll…but its an internal clock and you dont need to mess with its control features…lol
my favorite clock is one of these clever digital things that pings some system every midnight and resets itself if it’s off at all. But the best bit? It projects the time onto the ceiling! So, waking in the night, you just look up. The glowing numbers over your head tell you the time, nice and big.
Time…. time…. what’s the time? Its quarter past wrist. Or 20 to wrist o’clock. What’s funny is even when none of us are wearing a watch…. its our wrist that we look at when asked the time.

When Civilization ends and the supply of wristwatch batteries dries up, we’re going to miss the old wind-me-up watches.

I have been retired since 2001 and I still wear a watch. Also, I have a clock in all rooms of my house. I like to keep track of time.
