Came in here for the yummy vs soap discussion and I’m not disappointed. Sadly, I love it and my wife is in the soap camp.Information I’ve found indicates that if you eat enough of it, it’ll taste good after a while but still make you think soapy sometimes but probably not so soapy as to be completely unpalatable. There’s plenty of things I don’t like that I’d never try to like by eating more of it though so I don’t blame anyone for not trying that.
Fresh cilantro tastes soapy but it fades when cooked.The problem I have is the number of restaurants that make fresh salsa that tastes as if they forgot to rinse the bowl after washing.
