With all due respect (REALIZING OF COURSE that it is your blog and you are the artist and you can do whatever the hell you want), there was a better caption: “ADDITIONAL MESSAGE”.
@beviek – Ark. & Okla. my ass. I live in one of those states and recreate in the other, and real Arkies and Okies never say “Ick.”
P.S. (and apropos of nothing in particular), Will Rogers said that when the Arkies and Okies moved to California it raised the IQ in all three states.
Simce I really love to cook amd bake, I am a fan of all herbs. We have an herb garden, that lasts through the winter, but it has a tough time because we cut from the plamts so much that it takes all sprimg and summer to recover, especially thyme. Unforrunately. Basil is an annual jere.
I find it interesting that marg finds the entire panel peaceful. With the stark contrast of red versus black, it is anything but tranquil. Yet, I can see marg’s point, the strip does give one a sense of completeness and tranquility. Hmmmmm.
Somewhere in my undigitized slides I have a picture of a mosquito biting a leopard frog. Like the ticks on the snake, not something I expected to see because I thought there was a major thermal component to those insects finding meals.I have a big digitize everything project planned but it’s not done or seriously started yet, sigh.
I have a hard time looking at that poor snake, but the only comfort is that I can tell it’s being treated by a veterinarian, who will soon remove those horrid beasts.
I can think of several parties I would invite your clown to, but not a kiddy party. Then again, I can not think of any party I would invite a kiddy to.
I haven’t seen the “Manly Art of Knitting” for some years… I try to keep order in my bookshelves but by the time I get to one end the other is already hopeless. Once, long ago, in a pre-digital age, I dreamed of converting everything to microfilm but I couldn’t film as fast as I could find new stuff. Just the other day I found a mutilated copy of “English Through Pictures” left over from that project.

@JohnnyDiego, if you could attach an armature to Mr Rathbone’s corporeal leftovers, you could power Topeka from the spinning… groan

A very suspicious-looking herbalist, if you ask me (and you didn’t). Nothing against the lemon verbena, however.

@ Blog:Amazing how Charlton Heston manages to overact even while reading a magazine.
However, consering which magazine he’s holding, is it safe to say that we’d have to pry it out of his cold, dead hand?
