Never mind the tissues. Get out the bath towels.

I’m not a cat person, but that is a sad scene…

I am a cat person, and I’m enjoying this story. Nabuquadzhuneer’s story reminded me of how I acquired my cat. She was a half-grown stray. We had had several kitties over the past year, and they all got killed. So I declared No More. But this cat just wouldn’t go away. One day I told her, OK, one bowl of scraps and then you’re on your own. Over the next couple of weeks, she slowly worked her way into the house. She stayed with us for 15 years.

What are there, five kittens? If Jim wants to make us old-timers smile, then Rufus will visit and give one kitten each to Nina and Skeezix, Hope and Corky, Judy and Gideon, etc. Maybe Nubbin?

Perhaps we can have a storyline about being a responsible pet owner, and spaying/neutering…

I don’t mean just Kitty. Spay and Neuter the entire cast.

I still think Joel could help and fix this situation in a moment. He has alot of brains even though most here do not see it.

I love the artistic touch in the second panel. Having the hand lit separately from the silhouette. I’ve never seen that done before.
