Hilarious! This one made me laugh so loud, I woke up my daughter.

    Good Luck, Eddie!

Out of curiosity, How long have Legos been out now?

Several months ago Eddie built a wall of Lego bricks. I noticed some patterns and commented on Greg’s smart use of Photoshop. Greg replied that if he thought people would be looking at such details he would have worked more on that… or something like that. All this to say that: yes, Greg, I noticed how the Legos (in the tank, on the floor and most in the bucket) between the two panes match perfectly. Your attention to detail is quite commendable. (Around that time I also commented on Toby almost always wearing his red shirt. Since then, every Sunday Toby wears a shirt with similar pattern but different color. I wonder if Greg takes my detail-obsessive comments way too seriously!)

I’ll be honest. Yeah, I DID think about Strod as I was coloring this one. I remember Eddie’s castle and the commentary that goes with it. And Allan is right. I dig the feedback and the connection to everybody. Cartoonists didn’t get that very much before things started going digital. It’s got its good points and bad points. I occasionally second guess a strip’s humor, wondering what particular readers will say. Caught myself doing it a couple of days ago. Dangerous. I went with what I thought was funny, and if there are a reader or two whom I think will comment that they don’t quite get it… well, that’s okay. Now, I gotta go. I STILL haven’t figured out a way to put lipstick on Sarah and make it funny.

It will be real if dad buys enough Legos so that Eddie can make it life-sized. .cool. That means he could drive it down the street. If he can reach the pedals. ;))
