I hate it when that happens.

How old is Linus supposed to be?

Babies, toddlers and little kids are just naturally good scientists. They see something peculiar and they wonder about it. Older kids often get the strange idea from their peers that it is not cool to admit that you wonder about things. Good scientists never “grow up” in this way; they just go on wondering and add just a dash of critical thinking. More of us should wonder about our teeth dragging on our fingerprints.

I still remember Linus saying that he was “aware of his tongue”.

I`ve wondered about that.

Not a joke, a serious statement by Dr. Feynman when addressing a graduating class.

One nice thing about science (and the thing that will ensure that science ultimately triumphs over politics and religion) is that science is self-correcting. A scientist can make his or her career by demonstrating conclusively that everybody else so far has been getting it wrong and there is a better way to understand and explain things. For those who have eyes to see, there are always new and better mysteries coming along.

I actually had to try that. Kinda weird.

Linus would certainly approve of the discussion he has engendered.

Sorry, everybody. I got on a rant. Sometimes I pray, “Lord please protect us from those who are Absolutely Certain.”

LOL. I laughed at the part where you said your Brother used to say ‘Good Grief’ all of the time. That sounds like a true Peanuts fan to me!

Such a shame about your crush. That’s really sad. Let me just say that I think she missed out BIG time.
