Lost my wallet at Longwood Gardens with $60.00 cash in it @ 1997. We finished our day, figuring it was stolen. Checked at the desk and everything was intact. Never had my ID stolen. Even in 2012 I still see random acts of honesty. Happened with a 12 year old this past week at school. Told me she got too much change back from the cafeteria lady. I put in her name and story to the principal.

There are still honest people, they just don’t get the publicity.

It was ON the sink, not IN the sink, although I don’t know why someone would leave their wallet there in the first place while washing their hands.

I once found somebody’s wallet in a bathroom stall at a Friendly’s. So i took it and charged the card to the max…what the place was friendly’s and maybe the guy was friendly enough to leave it….Joking i gave it to the counter in hopes the guy would get it back
