Dead tired of the pitch-lizard. Time for it to go the way of the cavemen.

The Geico gecko is highly preferable over those idiotic caveman commercials they had, IMHO.

Love the Gecko. For him, it’s easy being green, unlike a certain famous frog.

The thing I like most about the gecko is how well it was modeled and how well it is composited into the background. I’m a 3D artist, so I always like that stuff. lol

Love the Gecko. He has personality and class. Much better than the other annoying ads they have had.

I agree with Jkiss, but I also like all the tiny ones that scoot around on my garden walls and eat pests. I am always chasing out the feral cats who prowl my garden trying to catch the birds AND the geckos.

My husband and my father were frequently mistaken for father and son. When my grandmother died, folks shook hubby’s hand, called him by my dad’s name and told him he “hadn’t changed a bit”.

A small number (3 or fewer) of ads with either pitchmen would have sufficed. They don’t know when a good thing has run its course… and turned into a bad thing.

I always imagine a commercial in which the Gecko says, “So easy, even …”, then you see a club swing by with a green splotch.

I guess Peggy’s lipgloss wore off when she made out with Peter! In front of their son. Elliot still doesn’t like it when they make out.

I also love the etrade baby commercials, although the latest babies aren’t as cute as the first baby was.
