“Nancy” today also has a nice tribute today, courtesy of aunt fritzi. but my local newspaper (wichita eagle) didn’t have a damned thing about davy jones in it. (i follow “nancy” and “working daze” online.)

RIP Davy, you will be missed.

BTW, I also think it was a pretty classy move by the rest of the Monkees to not attend the funeral so they wouldn’t draw attention away from the family.

Nice Tribute.. RIP Davey.. FYI : This past weekend they had a nice memorial for him in Beavertown, PA where he had a horse farm and was renovating a church to turn into a Monkee museum.

That was nice. Guess he’s on that Last Train to Clarksville..Time for everyone to do a little Hey, Hey We’re the Monkees and do the Monkee walk down the street.

The Monkees were the coolest to this ex-seven year old. R.I.P. Davey
