I know this is a joke, but there’s an acronym that is widely used that says it all. If there is anything written that is longer than a sentence or two, someone will post “tl; dw”, meaning “too long; didn’t read” Sad…
I’d seen tl;dr a few times here and there, but never in a context where I cared enough to look up what it meant. I did, however, know three different expansions for RTFM. I guess that probably dates me: I wouldn’t be surprised if nobody under the age of thirty knows RTFM but not tl;dr.

I mostly see it as tldr ‘cause who has time to type a semicolon. (and I absolutely didn’t post this to get a typo correction in)
