This is why so many people have money issues, shouldn’t it be obvious that cable TV isn’t required to live but electricity generally is accepted as being required.

I’m contented with a DVD player and some good movies. Are DVDs becoming obsolete now?

The joke would have worked better and made more sense had Brutus been the one to utter the joke. He after all is the “loser.” I think where Chip Sansom often goes wrong in the strip is he takes the focus off Brutus, who is the title character. Chip, Brutus is the “loser,” focus on his being the loser.
