Just pick up one of those discarded trolleys that lazy, inconsiderate people leave everywhere. It’s like red rag to a bull when you see people wheeling a shopping trolley along the street and the only item in it could be carried in one hand by a seven year old child.
Generally when carts are stuck it means one of two things. Either the baby strap is caught on the 2nd cart and all you have to do is untangle it, or the flap for the 1st is up too high and resting on top of the 2nd cart in which case you just lift the flap up and set it down in the center of the 2nd cart.
Did you ever notice that in all Wamarts that the area where you get your cart has a rough floor surface. You can’t tell if you have a good smooth rolling cart until you get further into the store. I wonder if they do that on purpose.
After spending over three years as a courtesy clerk in a localgrocery store I’ve seen plenty of stuck carts that I’d have to goand pull appart. Then when you get them unstuck the cart would either pull to the left or right and have a flat wheelto fool around with. Then there were the days when you’d have to push a row of them through the snow with fallingsnowflakes pelting your eyeballs. This strip brought back a lot of bad memories for me today. Thank goodness my cart pushing days are finally over with !
Usually when carts are stuck together, it’s not that hard to locate the point where they are stuck and fix the problem. I used to work at a grocery store when I was a teenager and I often had to unstick the carts. Too bad it’s not a marketable skill (yuck yuck).

Rule One to Employing a Wizard in a Crisis Situation: Don’t call his magic “stupid”, even if he is your husband who you take far too much for granted…

sorry magic shouldn’t be able to solve that problem. But if done right can get his wife secured into the middle of them all

Since I moved to Germany, I’ve only seen a stuck shopping cart once, and never one left stray.

Conjure up a giant to take them apart. Maybe he’ll take Blanche apart too.

Wiz, use your magic to conjure up a cart that’s already loose then tell blanch to go into the store to shop for it.

I’m not even sure that Wiz can handle that.

His magic doesn’t come ‘ala carte’, only ala-kazam.
