    You are going to need a professional to clean the paranoia out of that room. May I recommend Harvey Keitel?

    I used the actor’s name because he also played Victor the Cleaner in “Point of No Return”, the American version of the French film “La Femme Nikita.” I guess he got typecast.

    @Sharuniboy, from yesterday…

    I mentioned that I had hoped GT would be covering the Supremes arguing about Affordable Healthcare, and you pointed out that with lead-time requirements he would not be able to. Of course I didn’t mean daily updates of the facts of the arguments, but the topic was on the court’s docket for quite awhile, so he could’ve certainly laid out the truth for us a few weeks ago. While we’re reading re-runs, he’s already back from vacation loading the pipeline with what we’ll read in April. Maybe right now he’s busy mocking Geraldo for telling us not to wear hoodies.

    Geraldo. Holy cow. Back around the mid 70’s he hosted a cool show called “Goodnight America,” and it was the hip version of host/interview/musical guests type of show. Now he’s a caricature of a caricature. What a disappointment.

    Why are they running re-runs this week? These aren’t even relevant anymore?

    What will happejn when Duke’s son actually finds a bullet hole in the window glass? Also neither of the two had the guts to actually take the cyanide capsules. (Though in Duke’s case, there may me no effect after all the chemicals he has abused in his lifetime.)

    Is it Constitutional to require Americans to buy clothing? I’m not talking about any particular type/brand/style/whatever, just clothing at all?If not, why all the laws about “Indecent Exposure”? If so, why the hubbub about Health Insurance and ‘Healthcare Exposure’?

    The problem with reruns in this strip is that the old ones are completely irrelevant since Trudeau writes about contemporary themes. The stuff from the 70s would not be understood so he is forced to do reruns that are so recent we can remember them.

    Everybody wants to talk about health care or stand your ground, just to avoid talking about the SAT cheating scandal. I’m beginning to think half y’all went to Walden.

    ‘Being forced to buy a commercial product, “insurance”, to deal with the possiblity/potential of health problems, however, remains one the most fundamental points of argument AGAINST the current “health care”’

    .Sharuniboy, here’s the problem with this: Congress itself (under Reagan, I might add) required hospitals to treat the uninsured. Since they aren’t paying, someone must, and that’s you and me, either through hospital charges or inflated insurance premiums. In no other case (clothing, driving, broccoli, you name it) can one consume a good or service and say “That guy behind me will pay.” No hospital will willingly go bankrupt because of charity cases,.The number of people who refuse healthcare for religious reasons is infinitesimal, even though they get a lot of publicity, and even there, they are required to provide it for their children until they attain the age to refuse it as adults.
