Wrong Julius. July and August were named after Julius Augustus Caesar. âTwas Pope Gregory who started the Gregorian calendar in 1582. But Britain didnât start using the Gregorian calendar â or celebrate the beginning of the year on January 1 â until 1751. Up to then, the year began on Mach 25. So though itâs almost a week late, Happy new year!
The Poop in the Big Mouth Bass cap is wondering why it doesnât look more like himself. Do artists really stick their pens/brushes in their ears when meeting before Very Important Pooples?
Wrong Julius. Emperor Julius Caesar ordered the reformed Roman calendar in 46BC that bears his name, and is still in limited use. It was Pope Gregory XIII who ordered the reformed calendar we now use in the 1580s.
Okay, if âAdamâ got âfingeredâ, how come âEveâ gets the blame for everything that went wrong??? Michelangelo was just another misogynist âworkingâ the room.
Many pranks were pulled when the Masters painted for Catholic leadership. In this one, notice that God is painted inside the obvious shape of the human brain. Meaning, âGod is created by man, and exists only in his imagination.â Got that one by the old manâŠ
Ahistoric rubbish does not need to be âdeletedâ â although this breathtaking collection of misrepresentation and misstatement is annoying to anyone whoâs more interested in historical fact than grinding his personal hatchet, Catholic or not..A point-by-point carving of this rhetorical turkey would be fun, but beside the point, since youâre self-admittedly parroting the rubbish of others anyway..Flagging you would be appropriate, because of the sheer personal vitriol youâre directing at other readers who donât share your tiny, distorted worldview. But you would regard that as some kind of vindication, and I decline to give you even that much satisfaction. Besides, itâs better than everyone else see you as you really are.
SCATTY, âŠ.UmâŠ..OK, explain why just two points Sharunboy makes that are wrong and whyâŠ.that should make it easyâŠ..please enlighten usâŠwe donât want to be misled!
