Easy Rover – Red is where Oscar Mayer Wiener’s come from!

If Red could be an Oscar Mayer wiener, Rover would a happy puppy be-ee-ee…’Cause Red would be a most delicious wiener, and make dear Rover drool incessantly!

Oh, I’d hate to be an Oscar Meyer wiener,That is what I’d never want to be,’Cause if I were an Oscar Meyer wiener,There would soon be nothing left of me.

I love those commercials with real jingles in them! I remember in elementary school chorus, we did a show with all commercials and TV show theme songs. That was fun!

I had an Oscar Meyer about a month ago for the very fisrt time. They don’t have them in Canada, fortunately. They are about the worst hotdogs I’ve ever tasted. I threw the package out.

That said, since Rover would probably eat just just about anything, I’m not surprised he’s drooling.

Remember the Oscar Mayer truck shaped like a hot dog?The kids loved it.

Go on, Rover, take a bite! OK, who am I kidding? But that would be an awesome strip!

Fat kids, skinny kids, kids who climb on rocks. Even kids with chicken pox. My how the world has changed.

If you’re referring to “pink slime”, you’re absolutely right! As for Rover, I’m pretty sure he would just lick Red a lot.

When my son was about 6, he left an Oscar Meyer weiner in the pocket of one of his jackets. That was fun. We thought a mouse had died in the closet.

That jingle takes me back to my childhood going to the drive-in with my parents. They played that commercial every time. It was usually the favorite part of the show for me. ;-)
