Some joker, probably Dinny, painted a big L on Bobby’s back. I guess it stands for Loser. And shouldn’t Dinny have said, “Here goes nothing, Bobby”?

We’ll see how mega awesome Dinny handles rejexion.

What sends any teenage boy running… “want to meet my kid”?

Dinny’s last name is “Noonan” and he’s Danny’s younger brother from “Caddyshack”. In fact he’s wearing his brother’s hat. As he goes to meet Darby, Bobby will cough “Noonan!” every few seconds.

In regards to characters calling each other their names every other panel it helps keeps all of the different characters (who often look similar) straight.

Ha! He’s going to “introduce himself” to a teenage single mother who was obviously ditched by the a-hole who got her into this position in the first place? Oh, yeah, that’s gonna work out really well for him.

Since when are you just allowed to walk on the field at a high school sports event?

Game’s over. Max. Bookgirl, it will especially go over well since the kid has Dinny’s features, so he probably looks like the father. Somehow I see Bobby in her future.

I believe what he meant to say was, “Here goes Mega-Awesome nothing.” (Sorry, “Here goes Mega-Awesome nothing, Bobby.”)
