This cat may not look it, but he is part Siamese. I had one once who was all black with green eyes, but in spirit (and voice) he was Siamese to the core. If you got on his back about something, he would get back at you, and always when you were least expecting it.
My cat comes up to me and sits besides me. After a while I begin to pet her. Then, suddenly, she will give me a sharp bite. I can’t figure out if it’s a love bite or an angry bite. And sometimes, when I walk past her, she’ll take a swat at me (no pain, her claws are retracted). I don’t know if she’s playing with me or what
The cat is pure Eddie Haskell. “Good morning, Miss Clovia. You look well today.” And the minute she’s gone, the Beav (Slim) is the recipient of his wrath, whose “Ah, cut it out, Eddie (Kitty)” falls on deaf ears.
@ Arye Uygur – Our cats behave like that. It’s a form of cat affection. They could do damage if they wanted to. The nip usually means the cat feels you’re not really paying attention or you’re not petting the way the car would like. The swat is intended to get your attention.
