And later in his life, Lawrence will get butterflies in his stomach… but he won’t be girl crazy.

P. 3 sounds like Beaver Cleaver talking to Larry Mondello.

And you act just that way, Mike, whenever you see a certain little girl in your class.

It does remind me of Beaver and Larry.

Too late to avoid “goofy”

He wants to know what to avoid, so he won’t stop being fun to his nephew the way Uncle Phil has.

Easy, Michael… Avoid girls!

Mike when you grow older you will forget that moment.

Mike needs to start hanging out with Calvin & Hobbes.

Love is often unrequited. If it’s really love, then the other’s well-being and happiness matters more to you than your own anyway, so you can accept it and move on. (That doesn’t make it fun, of course.)
