I wanna toss out a quick shout for Level_Head! Not only does he consistently add to the enjoyment of visiting the EndTown page with his lyrical reviews, but by including the links to the voting site, he has made it a simple click for me to vote every day. Thanks, dude! :3
My reference to âhaving a different tune playing in our headsâ was not in reference to Level_head; but to those of us like myself and wecatsgocomics. I, myself, find that I donât always agree with the masses or with everyone in the groups I am a part of and I have no problem with that. I just wanted to let wecatsgocomics know that they were not alone in their preference.
The beautiful thing about this Comments section is that nothing is compulsory. Pick and choose, gloss over, or just post and go. Everyoneâs a winner.
Personally, I admire Level_Headâs works very much. I may skip it sometimes, simply through burn-out [there are a LOT of posts, here!], but I ALWAYS admire the level of skill it takes to continuously come up with his poetry.I tried it myself [back on March 14] and am rather proud of my effort, but it did take me a fairly long time and I would not want to make a habit of it [pretty exhausting!]
I enjoy Level_Headâs posts quite a bit. He has a clever knack for going to the heart of the comic in a poetic style. I did not enjoy poetry in school, but now that I do not have to break it down, and analyze the poems, I have to give him a lot of credit for his creativity.Frequently his poems are set to an existing musical piece, and that may even bring back pleasant memories. Recently he posted a work set to the tune of Amen by Leonard Cohen, that caused me several hours of pleasures digging the old archives to listen to long neglected works of sheer brilliance by Cohen.Feel free to skip any comment. Many of us enjoy Level_Headâs works AND the signature line that makes it so easy to vote for Endtown 2.0 and Doc Rat. After voting for Endtown2.0 just hit Aaronâs snazzy banner and be brought back here to get the link to vote for Doc Rat, after which you can click Endtown to access the banner again to return here, or hit Jennerâs Doc Rat to go to that cartoon that updates after 8AM Central Daylight Time USA, Sunday through Thursday.I do hope you will vote at Topwebcomics despite your current dislike of certain werken. It raises the visibility of the strips, and theoretically Aaron Neathery and Jenner could use consistent high ratings as a marketing tool to eke out better rewards as recognition of their talents.
It would not be the wheel Where propulsion is counted Instead, hereâs the deal Itâs the shaft where itâs mounted Though shown as a pole In most of the strips Has an airfoil role And so off he zips =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum
I would be perfectly OK with getting W&H safe to the ground and just going on from here, allowing Flask and AM to ply the friendly skies, but Lindaâs still up there and that boat ainât near big enough for she and Flask to share, so somethingâs still to be done âupstairsâ. I have given up trying to anticipate Aaronâs next moves though and am content to simply sit back & âenjoy the rideâ. It sure is a doozy! Bring on Wednesday ;-)
Iâm not into levelheadâs poetry, but I appreciate the creativity and effort he puts into doing it five days a week and I DEFINITELY appreciate the voting links. Keep it all up, sir.
Iâm not sure whether Wally and Holly would be any safer dealing with Topsiders than Flask (or even AM, who seems benign enough but, well, does âmercurialâ work?). Weâll see soon enough.
Iâve only gotten back into reading daily strips via gocomics, but this one became a favorite very quickly after discovering it. A larger audience (and more revenue) would be a deserved reward for ANâŠa very clever guy.
AM just made a mistake right? He didnât look like he told them it was the right door to be mean or do a trick ?Petey is a tough determined little guy!
so in panel 4, the clouds stop at the diagonal line (what is that line) and then there is that small âspotâ âwhat is that I donât think it is their shadowâŠâŠâŠâŠ..
I think the dot is Aaron Marx in some kind of craft coming to rescue Holly and Wally. I Hope, I Hope, I HopeâŠâŠâŠâŠ I still have faith in Aaron Marx.
I donât think itâs the shadow of W&H. I believe it may be a vehicleâŠ.a PT down on the surface? I hope Petey can catch them and spirit them away. If itâs a PT, it looks too much like a potential Friday cliffhanger to me. Go, Petey, go!
The way itâs drawn, looks like a black squarish object follwed by a gray plume behind (upper, left of the black blob). PT with a dust plume? Heading in the direction of a possible W&H impactâtoward lower left side of the panel.
I have to say, that black dot looks like itâs casting its own shadow. so, it could be something (or it could be the 3-d shadow of a 4d ship, but I donât knowâŠ)

Man, er, cat and mouse overboard! AM is being a pretty poor captain if he letâs his guests fall overboard like that.

Given the speed of rebooting, Petey is obviously not running Windows!

To be entirely clear with everything it feels great waiting a few days and then read, sure it is going slow but now I can enjoy it going slow.

Youâre not alone. Some of us just have a different tune playing in our heads.

What is the significance of Peteyâs Number 3? Is it a tribute to some athlete or does it simply mean he is special teams, like a kicker?
