The St. Louis Post-Dispatch discontinued Rose Is Rose. Would prefer to read it in a paper, but glad I can read it online.

Because in tomorrows strip Ma Gumbo cooks the squirrel.

Time to get a squirrel-proof bird-feeder, Rose.

There is no squirrel-proof bird feeder. Only squirred resistant.

Too bad there’s no commenter proof comic.

As I said in an earlier post somewhere or other, several years ago the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel ran a popularity contest of its comics, then jettisoned Doonesbury and Non Sequitur. Around that time, the classical NPR station went bye-bye. $$$ talks!

Same here. I was reading Rose in the Seattle Times, and it is also not in the Washington Post. I’m kinda glad I found this site, though, because sometimes I enjoy the comments, especially on editorial cartoons.

How about putting Peekaboo inside the bird feeder with the squirrel, BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Well Rose, you’re gonna have to take the bird feeder apart to save the little squirrel, & make the feed available to the little birdies again.
