Comics and comic strips have always been educational—billions of children learned to read by looking at them including my late, great father who was born in 1918! Luckily he never made anything explode –at least as far as I know of!
My dad may or may not have read comic books, but he did make things explode— like bridges, for example. But then, in his defense I must say he was ordered to do that, it helped win the war.
Little Johnny in his comic, learned to handle the atomic. Johnny blew us all to vapors, what a lad for cutting capers! From an old book of Halloween poems I had as a kid.
