I’m GLAD for this strip on so many levels. True…most of the blogs I read aren’t worth the toilet tissue they AREN’T printed on…I read some of them anyway…
and as a lifetime failed writer, I have failed SO many times…
And I didn’t know there were any others. Maybe I’m a little self-absorbed…
Actually, I think Wiley was referring to the Huffer Post because they’re notorious for not paying people who write for them regularly.
A lesson for ANYONE who blogs for someone else is to never do it for free. If you give something away for nothing, the eventual perception among those you’re giving it to will be that it’s worth nothing.
Regarding the colors – I have noticed it, but can’t say I am exactly amused. I react more like, “!@#$%! Now they’ve even stolen my color!” However, I do find it amusing that whetever your color preference, then or now, you will probably identify!
I hate to say it, but greed has always ruled society, no matter how far back you look in history. It’s just way more “in your face” these days with less of an attempt to disguise it.

well, realising they give away subscriptions to their feeds (okay, i’m a subscriber), arianna’s “publication” can’t be making a lot of money…

What, it doesn’t engage in getting sponsors and advertising for them? That’s how most “free subscription” sites pay the bills.

Why? “Huffing” makes me think of the three little pigs. (I don’t have that connection to “Huffington” though.)

I haven’t read a political blog yet that I thought was worth paying for.

I like the way Wiley emphasized AZZ in the window – it had to be on purpose!

Sounds familiar! A job-job to earn money and then – doing what you really love!

I’ll have a large blog with really nothing on it, yes, that’s right, the Arianna Stuffed Crust. Thank you.

So it’s alright to spout ridiculous bull(dung) in support of a political agenda as long as you’re not getting paid?

The Huffington Post, where spelling, grammar, and facts are optional but the ability to squash any reply is the real payoff.
