It had completely slipped his mind. Gordon’s work on the secret project over at BSTARD… The implant! It had to be. It was suppose to allow him to speak to dolphins and horses but shattering tea cups. This was unforeseen. How will he ever explain this to Mabel, without destroying her great aunt’s tea sets and porcelain doll collections?

Stephen hadn’t paid much attention to the missing fluxweed in the garden. But as the polyjuice potion wore off, so did Stephen’s concerns over the unlikely coincidence of Reggie’s disappearance and Gordon’s unannounced visit.

That’s probably just Gordon’s inner puppy wanting to come out and play.

Or a really mild case of werewolf.
