My husband bought me an expensive Hallmark card for Mother’s Day-which I love. He was proud to have spent that much for it.

My husband and kid are smart and do not buy into Hallmark moments. They treat me like a goddess every day.

I was happy- heard from all 4 of my kids (all near 50) sometime during the day and got to watch my Cornell bird cam and the Met production of Faust today -what could be better?

Honeybunch drives me crazy the way she always grills poor Ralph about what the card he has taken the time, effort and money to get for her says! She seems incapable of just saying “thank you”!!
