Oh, Mike, work, save your money, and buy your own skates!

psychlady has it right, or get something even cooler and charge Gordon more.

I can’t believe his parents won’t buy him skates. It’s not a big investment. When we were kids (a long long long time ago) everyone had skates and believe me, we were not rich.

This comic explains the mind-set of your typical used-car sales man. :D

He had a future in automobile repairs. It stinks to do that to your best friend though.

I would never have charged my friends like that. I would have just passed my skates over. I’m the better person! Broke, but the better person.

I agree. Michael should continue to work for those roller skates. The boy is now 8 or 9. He’s old enough for some responsibility. I hope Gordon’s parents hear of his scamming deals.

You see?!?!?! What did I tell you yesterday?!?!? At 8 years of age, Gordon’s already a scam artist! It’s a wonder he grew up to be an honest(?) businessman . . . because I would have guessed that, based on this little con he’s trying to pull on his (supposedly) good friend, his future home was in a prison somewhere for being a Bernie Madoff wanna-be . . . or worse!!!!!
