Money does talk. In the old days of campaigning, we’d mark up a sample ballot and wrap it around a miniature whiskey bottle. We’d hand ‘em out downtown by the hundreds. But the republicans had more money…they’d wrap their marked ballots around a five-dollar bill, and hand them out by the hundreds. I don’t think either method would have much impact in today’s high-priced elections.
