The problems with Star Trek: Deep Space 9 were 1. the relatively static setting and 2. the metaphysical hocus-pocus into which the show eventually descended. That said, I would probably have been just as snookered by a “temporal phase diode” as was Monty. By which I mean I am thirsty for some drinkie now, like Monty….

I am always amused by how, after “Robotman” was retired, Monty has been cycling through foils— Mr. Pi, the chimp, the Professor, the new robot… The regulars are always fun, but JM can keep rolling out “guest stars” to keep the humor fresh.

DS9 is still my favorite, but i also like Enterprise and Babylon 5, along with Farscapedo we have anything left? Eureka and Fringe are both going.
