Question for you smarty-pants out there…..Blog/ANDREW B. MYERS/ image with fork and outlet….. this reminds me of something I have occasionally wondered about. 98% of places I have lived have outlets where the ground hole is orientated to the bottom, where-as the one in the image and a small number of places I have lived have them with the ground hole at the top. Anyone know why this is? I am sure the answer is much less shocking than my imagination would allow.
