Broomie, that was a waste of a zap. There have been many occasions much better suited to your talent.

Good morning, LB. It has been 98 here already this year, but no humidity yet.

No, you inferred that somehow GoComics had a policy forbidding her to ever use it again, and I’m sorry I even listened to that inference. I DID TELL YOU and everybody else that she’d use it again sooner or later. The Zap should then be directed toward Fox News and all right-wing pundits (Rush, take note) as the logical extension of the plan to clean up the contamination of the airwaves and then to bring on the heavy artillery of MSNBC.This Zap was brought to you courtesy of the Broomie vs. Wizard of Id discrimination suit that asked if the Wiz could continue to use zapping powers, why couldn’t Broomie?She was also represented by the EEOC (a tip of the hat to the EEOC here).The power behind today’s Zap has ended a long dry spell in zapping in this strip. The victorious decision in the Broomie vs. Wizard of Id case is in some measure attributed to Broomie’s legal staff, but also in large measure to the pressure exerted on Go Comics by devoted readers of this strip. Thanks to all of you who assisted in this effort.
