Having just lost my Black Lab to cancer 2 weeks ago, this strikes a chord for me!!

Man, this one makes me miss some pretty special animals.

I have always thought about Red getting a call when he is in college telling him Rover has passed on. And then when Red got a place of his own and got his next dog.

I can hardly type through my tears. Great comic. It never has to end.
