Good one. Reminds me of some of the things my grandson shouldn’t have said, that he picked up from me.

Oh, am I glad I wasn’t benefitted by my paternal grandparents (Grandma died when Dad was a college student & Grandpa —who I heard had the "vocabulary"— a few months before my older brother was born when my parents were married eight years). As for the maternal grandparents, I got some benefits from them although I didn’t see them often from Washington to Arizona.

Nana used to pass gas and call it “Crackers” to announce it to everyone…still make me laugh!!

Them be Grand Central Station drawers, Nelson—no ballroom.

Won’t be long; he’ll be wearing his pants high up his waist with a white belt and complaining about the government.

There is a young man I believe either 19 or 20, who chosen to live the old Ozark type of life here in KS. Acts old and wears long sleeves during summer or year-around. Seems strange when other young men his age or not near as polite in talk.
