    @Florchi. About the comics. Re"Prince Va;iant". I can remember every Sunday laying on the floor and reading the comics. That was at least 70 years ago. I have always thought, even then, that “Prince Valiant” was the best looking pictures of any other strip.>>>>>>I also read the Phantom, Blondie, and remember them fromback then, (Not sure about Blondie, though. I remember Red Rider, the Toonerville Trolly. Alley Oop too, who is only a couple years younger than me. I read Foxtrot seven days a week. The Phantom, Foxtrot and Prince Valiant were the only ones on your list I read. >>>>>With the exception of Sally Forth, the others are sort of like soap operas, and I never did like soap operas. I like 9 Chickweed Lane, amusing. and a little racy sometimes. Luann is fun, Pickles, Doonsbury, Broom Hilda (like the sureal backgrounds. Calvin and Hobbes, Flash Gordon and The Amazing Spiderman.>>>>>>In the mid-forties, I used to deliver the “Call Buletin” My route started at the top of Nob Hill, and the first thing I did before starting deliveries was to sit down and read the comics. Over the yeats there were long periods when I was unable to read them. Like when I was up in the mountains, or nomading around wherever.

    SALLY FORTH: So, the previous week of wedding plans was all a dream?

    REX MORGAN: Who are the police gonna question? Mabel, as a person of interest (especially with Isis’ accusation) or Iris for admitting to assault?

    APT3G: Scott has a cellphone in his hand; shouldn’t it not be a surprise that Margo is calling him?

    MARY WORTH: Fther and daughter are BOTH going to italy; sounds great! Does Giorgio have access to WiFi?

    JP: Mr. Avery seems to be pampered and a little overweight. Trekking to a mountain stream could take some great effort. Is this story leading to him not being physically able to reach the stream or injured somehow?

    JP – Interesting guess, Teh.Rex – I hope the police take everything into account and also listen to calmer heads, i.e. Rex and June.A3G – Someone else can easily see that Margo has called Scott. Last thing he needs is any more “help” from her.Mandrake – Luciphor cheats. I hope Mandrake can recover quickly. Did he promise to not use magic?Sally – Maybe they already got married to avoid the fuss.Mark Trail – I agree with woodworker. I’ve been worried about this.

    Foxtrot – This strip must have been published originally when California was having brownouts and blackout. Those problems continue to some extent.

    PHANTOM: This very long story arc has (IMHO) literary depth – it’s like reading a novel (I’m not complaining, BTW). I think Teh commented that it started last August when Kit Walker (Phantom) went to the southwest U.S. and then on to Mexico. I am wondering if the story will wrap around the 1-year mark, in August 2012. (?)MARK TRAIL: I too agree with woodworker. And I doubt that it could be proven that the gum wrapper was found at the murder site (as there was no official collection and chain of custody of the evidence).MARY WORTH: Buona idea, Wilbur. Ma quello che Dawn non vuole andare? (Good idea, Wilbur. But what if Dawn doesn’t want to go?)JUDGE PARKER: Why am I concerned about the chain of custody of that just inked multi-million-dollar contract?

    @Shirttail Slim

    I just recently started reading Pibgorn which is pretty far out, but McEldowney explains some of his thought processes. I think you’re right about the commenters. Even Luann attracts some trolls, and some inappropriate comments

    2 Florchi……No comments can be made at 9 Chickweed Lane. As I said, it is a bit racy at times, and the same kind of idiots, wracked by hormones and likely in the throes of, or slightly beyond, mentally at least. Kindred to those who make viruses that mess it up for people with computers. :-((((
