The manager of the Supermarket I worked at in college played his stuff on a loop throughout the store. It was effective aversion therapy, I can’t stand to hear his music at all.
I wasn’t too crazy about ND, but was taken to his concert by a friend. The man was (is?) a great entertainer and showman. I’m still not crazy about listening to his music cold, but I’d be more than willing to see him live again.
Always liked Neil Diamond’s music. His Tap Root Manuscript and Jonathan Livingston Seagull albums are my favorites along with a couple I can’t think of the name of but I know the music on them.
Eeeyuw! There was ONLY one good Neil Diamond album (!!) and even now I can’t think of the name of it! (Oh, wait. “Even Now” was a Barry Manilow album – heh!)

I’ve always loved Neil’s music. I saw him at the old Omni in Atlanta in the late ’80’s.
