You’d think someone his age would know the difference between Warren Buffett and Jimmy Buffett!

The manager looks just like that guy on the radio, The Great Gildersneeze.

JImmy is Warren’s nephew

The correct name was Gildersleeve. It was him or someone that looked similar to him, that made guest appearances on the Lucy or Jack Benny shows as a smart alec salesperson who always stated out with Yeeessssss.

Actually Frank Nelson started working steadily on the Benny program a year or two before Harold Peary created the character of The Great Gildersleeve on the Fibber McGee & Molly radios show,

You are so correct when you say, “Everyone will never be satisfied”. Thankfully, Jim Scancarelli seems to follow Rick Nelson’s 1972 maxim of, “You can’t please everyone, so you’ve got to please yourself”. And we are all the better for it!
