    OK, why is Marigold wearing a bikini “top”? A mare’s… “equipment” isn’t that far up her torso.

    Probably because a bikini is just inherantly funnier than a onepiece. The fins kill me

    Once, we had a halloween horse show, and I dressed the really dumb appaloosa gelding up in eyeshadow, lipstick, a blond wig and put balloons under his black stretchy jammy thing ( think tank top for blankets on horses) He alwasy had a kind of surprised, blank look on his face anyway, and we said he was Anna Nicole Smith. I think I laughed for five minutes straight at that

    I love the tail. That’s almost practical enough that it stops being absurd.

    The green with yellow polka dots is a bit much.

    As others have said before, I wish this strip had the enlarge feature enabled. There are so many details worth a better look here…

    I didn’t notice the flipper on the tail either – what an added hoot!

    Yes she’s nude most of the time, this should have been obvious.

    Mind you, it’s only drawfriend level nudity, not the kind you find in a drawfiend.

    This just makes me grin. Also: my inner nine-year-old thanks you for giving Marigold cloven hooves and a lion’s tail. Shetland ponies with horns was the biggest pet peeve of my youth.

    Uncomfortable? Honestly? ::rolls eyes::

    Not that I would ever compare Marigold to Sam, Black Sabbath or Grey Lady (Belgians and Percherons I owed in my youth) but just because I put blankets on them time to time didn’t mean I viewed them as ‘nude’ without them. I mean, seriously!

    I don’t think the bikini and/or jammies (which I found quite adorable and fetching) are as much a statement regarding Unicorn anatomy as they are regarding Unicorn fashion and “Diva”.

    There have been some comments on the ’net today about how the panel layout of today’s “Heavenly Nostrils” resembles that of today’s “The Phantom”. Well, at least it’s a break from the comparisons to “Calvin & Hobbes”.

    “Comparisons are odorous.”—Shakespeare, “Much Ado about Nothing”.
