Some people who aren’t good at a sport just shouldn’t play. Marty is one of those people.

Dad’s ball landed in the rough (a place from which it’s very hard to get the ball out) and Nate asks for a bribe to kick it out and pretend it didn’t.

Is this dad’s way of preparing son for future in adult world?

Oh sure, sure. They’re alone, so nobody’s around to witness the ‘lil double-play. If dad’s deciding to not play it out of the rough, he coulda just kicked his topflite 4 out himself. And Nate, he’s got “some pocket $$$$”, just like “Judge” Smails did!! Gee. Gosh!! Neat-o!!

Still, the greatest human lesson in today’s adventure was: we understand each other……Golly! Wow!!
