Frazz by Jef Mallett for July 01, 2012
Transcript:
Caulfield: If homo sapiens is uniquely aware of his own mortality surely he is them aware that wasting time is like suicide on the installment plan. And yet it is also uniquely human to fold underwear. Frazz: Excellent twist! I was expecting something about those games on facebook. Caulfield: Life's too short to deal with offended people who don't get enough sleep.

It’s “uniquely Human” to WEAR Underwear, not to mention Outer-Wear.

Unless you happen to be an underwear model.

Unless you need to match them, socks, too, don’t really need folding. If you live by yourself, a drawer is all you need,

Does Caulfield know that there are many, many people who will be offended no matter what he says?

Wear women’s underwear.

Only the twisted mind of a psycho OCD neat freak can see any reason to fold underwear.

I spen waayyy too much time here to deal with face book. I don’t fold my underware, I let the Underware Gnomes do that.

Of course, then here are some weary old souls out there who not only fold their underwear but iron it first, too. Which is only one step above numbering your white socks to make it easier to match them up after washing.

Last Underwear Fold: barracks inspection, Sept. 22, 1962.Still ‘pair’ the sox, though… And ‘going commando’ is just ASKING for it….

OK, I’ll admit it. I’m a closet underwear folder. Literally, in that I keep my underwear in my closet on a shelf rather than in a drawer, and folding it makes a better use of space. I roll my socks for the same reason; they stack better that way.
Ellen Gwynne over 12 years ago
But…if you don’t match up socks and connect them together, one of each pair will eventually escape. Even stockings will run!

I’m impressed Caulfield knows the proper way to format binomial nomenclature and uses it even when speaking!

We all know some people who have their panties in a bunch, though.

Uh, has anyone ever attempted to fold a g-string or a thong?
IQTech61 over 12 years ago
I fold my underwear so it takes up less drawer space. I have limited storage. When I have more storage space, I don’t bother.

Yeah, I like the comment as a whole, but there are holes in the logic and Frazz and Caulfield sure do think they’re better than the rest of humanity.

I like the COMIC as a whole, not the COMMENT. Grr, autocorrect.
