I had a lot of first editions. They were thrown out when I went away to college.

Knowing my mothers’ temperament and her attitude towards ‘all that stupid nonsense’ I hid all my first editions away where she’d never find them. The mice DID, though.

@DrFoggYeah, it’s too bad you don’t have them still. They’d probably be worth a lot.

Bag it and get an get an Overstreet Guide quick! Then put that sucker in a SAFE DEPOSIT BOX!!! It’s now a horse race as to who’ll get to it first: the wife or the grandkids!!!

I’m reminded of this story from a couple of years ago.
