Will Chalkie never learn?

And just what fun is a game of cards if you DON’T cheat???

I’ve never been in a card game important enough to cheat. Hope I never am.

One has to adapt to local conditions in order to succeed…

I say that Andy always has something up his sleeve, but sometimes he can keep it under his lid.

Chalkie keep careful watch over Andy he will cheat you.None of my family do not play or watch sports. Hubby likes WWW wrestling, me I do something else.

52 card pick-up. Can’t cheat at that.

Every time I get 3 Aces, Andy gets 4. How does he do that?

Andy has a real cheating problem! He’s lost 3 hands in a row.

Oh Chalkie… You’ve known Andy since the late 50’s.

You can read him like a book. Of course the lazy slug will cheat!

That’s our Andy… Always eager.

But not where employment is concerned.

How does Andy support his “life style”? The only source of money I’ve seen is him stealing from Flo’s purse. He must have a huge unpaid tab at the local pub. (Yes, I realise It’s “just” a comic strip. And a damned good one at that, I might add.)

Andy does win at the races ONCE in a while, sells some of his beloved pigeons sometimes (this always brings a lump to his wallet), and probably picks up a little playing darts and billiards. Of course, Flo’s purse is the seed money for all of this…….

You know soneone is cheating when your four kings and an ace is beaten by four aces and a king.

I had a game once called Chickadee Poker, based on a poker scene in the WC Fields movie “Mississippi.” There were eight aces in the deck and you bet your morals, scruples and principles.
