@ Davidf42…. Give it a few hours, eventually you will start sweating. Means the fever is breaking. Be praying for you, and I;m sure many will join me.
David, I hope you feel better. I have a cold also, from the weather in Norway – at least my voice is back. I hafta take a tylonol as I’m allergic to aspirin.
PS I once caught a cold in Israel after reading a Torah portion in synagogue. It’s customer for people to shake hands with the honoree and I let someone with a bad cold shake hands with me. My Israeli cousin told me he always washes his hands before leaving the synagogue.
Colds are awful, aren’t they. I always seem to catch something from the limited air in an airplane. They have to recirculate the cabin air, and while I was undergoing chemotherapy, it was advised to avoid flying for that very reason.
I tried to go back to yesterday’s strip to see the late comments, and so far, none of the comics I visited have that feature anymore. Is it just my computer, or does anyone else have that problem?
Good morning Vagabonds. David, I hope you were well enough to preach and play in the bell choir this morning. I’ve played in a handbell choir in the past (in a Methodist church as a matter of fact). It was something my Mom and I did together as we both could read music. I love the sound of the bells and the experience of playing. (Two-in-hand is fun, isn’t it?)
Rita, I watched “Paint Your Wagon” again Friday. Harve Presnell’s singing of “Mariah” made my whole day!
I struggled through church. Played in the handbells, and delivered the sermon. Then I came straight home, missing Sunday School and Pot Luck Dinner. Slept for 4 hours. Still feel week, but a little better.

Morning, Vagabonds!
First time I’ve ever been here at the change-over. I’m up with a 100 degree fever. And I have to preach this morning! Oh, me!

Thanks, Slim. I’ll do that. I’ll drink a glass of water and go back to bed. I’ve already taken the aspirin.
