I usually side with Earl on this strip, but today I agree with Opal.Look, and say “very nice” and move on.

I keep my paintings away from my ‘Earl’ until they are finished. He will look at the base coat and tell me it doesn’t look like much. He doesn’t understand.

I see an easel and a paint brush in Opal’s hand, but where are the paints?
