As a confirmed Anglophile, I do hope all the Brits on this board will forgive and forget as we celebrate our Independence Day. The US political landscape today makes me wonder if maybe we made a huge mistake back then. How about a straight up trade, Congress for Parliament?

I was saddened by your comment so I felt I had to reply and say that they are in my thoughts.

Those singers you listed, they sound quite good but never heard their music before. I guarantee they will have more talent than today’s ‘music’

My cousin was diagnosed with MS having very young twin girls and a new born boy. I always remember how she used to love jiving at the local dance hall on the weekends before she married the evil b*%&£"d of a husband.

Just like Angelica in the Rugrats, she was mean to me, but we were both only children and like brother and sister, really.-———————

I grew up reading Andy Capp but unfortunately it wasn’t the oldies that I post. It was the new ones they are doing now.

Oh well. I’ve caught up on the oldies anyway!

Number Six has done it once or twice. But it’s been me mainly.

Sandfan DID post the actual site but not on a certain strip.

Then I started posting the strips every day. Now Eldo & Sandfan do it too.

Last comment about MS.

A biker friend of mine has been in remission for about 10 years and still rides his Harley. He knows it won’t last but he has a lot of support locally, having started one of the biker groups when he was younger.

Still has waist length hair in his fifties. Great guy (so’s his boyfriend who unfortunately DOESN’T ride a Harley!)
