Why do Ihave to push 1 for English.

Ah, outsourcing, isn’t it grand.

I have had about 200 robo-calls to my new number asking for money from the old owner of the number.Well, at least i didn’t get George Zimmerman’s old number.

They still ignore you. Just wilth more advanced technology to do it.

I put up with that crap from only one company — my credit card company when I get an updated credit card. The rest of them can go to heck. “Your call is very important to us” is one of the worlds greatest lies.

I have no idea what liberals are smoking, but it must be really good stuff!! It’s the liberals & unions that drove the jobs over seas. Democrats love nothing more then passing more & more regulations & redistribute other people’s money! Also, unions have driven all most all of the manufacturing jobs out of the country! Now they are working to bankrupt local & state governments.Finally, obama hasn’t done aq single thing to creat a nongovernment job! The only thing he was done is vastly increased the size, scope & reach of the federal government. Liberals really need to stop drinking the Kool-Aid & use your God given brains & make up your own minds! I mean really it’s been 4 years since GWB has been President, stop watching MSNBC & think for yourself!!

I’m amazed that people complain about having to “press 1” for English. What a hardship! How will you ever survive?

I don’t recall ever having worked for some one who wasn’t richer than me.

By and large, automated answering systems are a pain in the @$$ not just for seniors but for everyone and getting an out-sourced operator who barely speaks English and goes by a canned script is exasperating. There are ways around it. Dialing 0 ( sometimes repeatedly ) may get a live Customer Service Person or an Operator. Without being overly impolite, telling the IT or CS individual that you cannot understand them and would like to speak to a supervisor or someone whose English is not so heavily accented, sometimes helps.The company I used to work for outsourced their Customer Service dept. but not the IT dept. If one of my clients problem was IT, I would give them the IT Dept.‘s direct extension so they could bypass all the auto-answer stuff and Customer Service. I also had a way for my clients to bypass the outsourced CS and get an American representative.Amazing how much repeat business and referrals I got because of just this one thing. Corporate didn’t like it but … oh,well.

Isn’t it nice that the company thinks so well of us that that make us us talk to an inanimate objects. Ironic that it is like talking to a wall..How may I direct your call? snort (Lili Tomlin)

It’s the endless loop (circle jerk) of pushing one number, connecting you to ANOTHER pick a number, which gives you ANOTHER selection, NONE OF WHICH actually connects you to what you need, or gives you the option!! AND THERE IS NO “BAILOUT” to a human being!!

BTW, for the righties who see this as connected to the current White House occupant: no, there isn’t an “eleven” on the keypad for when you have your heart attack, or stroke that destroys your last remaining brain cell.
