Has anyone mentioned how what AM does is similar to what Will can do with “The Subtle Knife” in the “Dark Materials” trilogy by Phillip Pullman? Except AM doesn’t need the knife to find a seam in reality. I wonder if this will soon be the end of Wally’s story, and we’ll begin following another character.

A bit of history about the Brit’s ‘two finger salute’ : back during the heyday of King’s, castles, and archers both the British and the French would cut off the index and middle fingers of the archers captured so they would never be able to fire a bow again. So the Brit’s would show the ‘two finger salute’ to say that we still got ours, in a F you kind of way.

Okay,so, Linda was thrown through the hole, Holly was lifted through, Wally climbed through, and we saw AM through the hole. Petey didn’t go through? Going to find Flask, his past lover? Maybe that’s my answer.

It is an old British taunt. Back in the day if archers were captured, their captors would cut off their bow string fingers so they could never use a bow again. By showing them your two fingers basically doing the same thing as the middle finger.

LOL, I can’t even respond to that. Good one.

So holding up all five fingers would just look weird?

Heh… the “pluck yew” origin of the gesture is just a punny joke. Nobody’s really sure where it came from, though it could be a reference to the cuckold’s horns.

He’d better watch out. Mr Team Leader could end up in the cozy little rubber room with Avery…;-)

Remember: When doing a two-fingered salute, fingernails towards you = Peace. Fingernails toward them = Screw Off.

I think they’ll find Flask in an Endtown hospital where Marx put her. And she’ll have Wally’s old doctor trying to make her stay put and muttering, “Why me?”
