No wonder Petey dislikes the great outdoors.

It’s a Venus’s mouthy-boy trap.

The flower is attacking Petey and his father is yelling at him. Sounds like my father. Blame the victim for being a victim.

Nature abhors a vacuum Petey.

Petey’s been bad-mouthing the flower all week. Turnabout time. Alice is a little too gleeful in panel 3, however.

Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean that they’re not out to get you.

Perhaps his dad want"s to teach him a little courage in the face of advercity.

How can Petey calm down with this humungous flower attacking him? And in his face? Have a little compassion, people.

Perhaps it will blow spores at them like the flowers from the original Star Trek episode “This Side of Paradise”?

Wilt? I think the flower is named “Chamerlin.”

I believe that flower is a petal pusher.
