Okay, gang.. There is a LOT of new merchandise in the Endtown Cafe Press Store, including shirts and mugs featuring the requested “No place like home” panel from July 25th, in full color… There are also two auctions over at the Endtown Auction Block… a color drawing of Aaron Marx and another double-sided original.. Both auctions end at midnight tonight (CST).. Thanks to all who participate! All proceeds help keep Endtown alive..
From any one else, this would either be bragging or unsupported BS. From Marx, it’s a simple statement of fact.——————————Electromatic Radio, faster than a beeding spullet.
Here we go. . .AM knows that the Professor is rather full of himelf, so now he goes into his own “holier than thou” routine. I think AM is trying to teach another lesson here. Question is: Will the Prof. get it or will he try to out-teach the teacher?
Okay, so what’s with the cigar? There’s got to be a reason for it. His symbolism to the Professor that he’s a big player too? I already feel like it’s not a normal cigar, maybe it’s another toy for AM’s lesson.
Early on, I thought that AM was just a deus ex machina, which is bad enough. Now I learn he’s a deus ex mundia. It’ll take great writing to salvage this.
“One reality over, this tabletop may have one less scratch on its surface.. one half less.. one quarter.. a molecule.. an atom..”Does this mean that one reality over, the tabletop is separating another Mallard and another Marx? Or, is Mallard in his lab because he has no reason to sit at the table? If the universe is infinite, wouldn’t there be a (smaller) infinity of Mallards running around? Wouldn’t at least one of the Mallards try to contact the others and pass over the secret to avoiding hairloss?——————————-Reactor containment field breach in 5 seconds…

Bit of a detour with from since the end of the Petey arc, and now headfirst with new characters, a botched sabotage mission (not resolved yet), the Satellite mini-arc (still pending), a new Mutant whose story arc is still on hold, Flask loosing it (and out of the picture now), alien tech (uh), and now an seemingly omnipotent WHOvian character that has pushed all story arcs aside,…
I like plots and twists as anybody else, but I was still focusing on Wally’s arc, his EndTown/Satellite involvement, his relationship with Holly, how would he juggle all of it, the Topsiders angle, how would he would deal with Flask…
Now my eyes are glazing over with the prospects of metaphysics, quantum realities, multidimensional paradoxes, and a being with no constrains of power. Not the gritty realism of the series I fell in love with.

If it weren’t for the fact that Marx predates him, I’d think Marx was influenced by the eleventh Doctor.

Agreed, Alun. I’ve been getting a Doctor Who vibe from him since the start.

It also means there is an infinite amount of infinite Aroon Marx out there, and in some dimension some of those would cross paths.

He won’t be infinite if he keeps smoking those stogies!

Not your typical Friday cliffhanger, but certainly a strip that raises a lot of questions.
